The national U-20 women’s soccer team, the Black Princesses, secured a 2-0 win over their Tunisian counterparts in qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Mercy Attobrah’s brace ensured that the Princesses inch closer to qualifying for the next round.
The former Hasaacas Ladies striker put the Princesses in front after just four minutes.
She made it 2-0 in the second half to seal victory for the Ghanaians.
The second leg is scheduled to be played on Sunday, September 28 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The winner of the two legs will play the winner of the Eswatini-South Africa tie for a place at the mundial.
