Black Queens and Ampem Darkoa Ladies lateral defender Comfort Yeboah has been signed on by Spain Primera Division side DUX Logroño. 

The club announced the deal on Thursday, September 25.

“Together, we will work hard and strive to achieve great sporting success,” DUX Logroño added to their post on X, formerly Twitter.

“Your talent and dedication will provide invaluable reinforcement to our club.

“We look forward to seeing you shine on the field and celebrating many victories together!”

Comfort Yeboah joins after helping the Black Princesses secure a 2-0 away win over Tunisia in a 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier.

She is likely to miss the return leg, scheduled for Sunday in Accra.

The defender popped to the limelight following her sterling performance for Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the 2023 WAFU Zone B Women’s Champions League qualifiers in La Cote d’Ivoire.

She followed up with an outstanding performance in the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League, where she was named in the Best XI. Ampem Darkoa finished 4th.

Comfort Yeboah was in contention for Young Player of the Year (Women)

She was nominated that year for the African Young Player of the Year.

She was a member of the recent Black Queens squad that annexed Bronze at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco.
