The Black Queens will play at next year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) after coasting to a 4-0 win over Egypt at home.

The 2024 Bronze medallists, therefore, book their ticket 7-0 on aggregate.

Israel-based Doris Boaduwaa started the same way in the first leg as she opened the score at the Accra Sports Stadium.

She went on to score two more goals with Comfort Yeboah getting the other in the 4-0 routing of the Cleopatras.

All the four goals came in the second half after the North Africans held their own in the first half.

But after a goalkeeping blunder, the floodgates were opened as four went past Habiba Emad.

Next year’s tournament, scheduled to take place in Morocco, will be held from Tuesday, March 17 to Friday, April 3, 2026.
