The Black Queens have returned from Egypt following their 3-0 first-leg win over the Cleopatras in the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers.
Goals by Doris Boaduwaa, Mary Amponsah and Grace Asantewaa ensured that the Queens returned with an advantage into the second leg.
They touched down at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra on Friday.
They are expected to resume training on Saturday, October 25 for the return leg on Tuesday, October 28.
Ghana will need at least a draw to book a place in the tournament, to be held in Morocco March/April next year.
It will be qualification on the bounce for the Black Queens, having partook in the 2024 edition and finished with Bronze.
They had missed the 2022 tournament after hosting the previous edition.
