Sudan’s national team led by James Kwesi Appiah on Thursday held Ghana’s Black Stars to a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium.

It was a Group F game in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

It was a game at the venue for the team for the first time in three years after the Baba Yara Sports Stadium was banned for Category 3 games by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Ghana was led for the first time by West Ham United’s Mohammed Kudus, who also wore the iconic No. 10 jersey.

But with many missed chances the Black Stars failed to break the Falcons of Jediane.

The result sees the Stars remain third but on two points while Sudan remain second on four points.

The two sides play again on Tuesday, October 15 at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Benghazi, Libya.
