Galamsey kingpin, Aisha Huang, has been sentenced by an Accra High Court for 4 years and 6 months in prison.
She was found guilty by the court for committing various mining offences. She is also to pay a fine of GHC48,000.00.
Trial Judge, Lydia Marfo, noted that the evidence provided by the state in the form of videos, pictures and testimony of witnesses leads her with no choice but to conclude that Aisha Huang undertook mining in the contrary to the law of the land.
