The Liberia Camp District Police Command has arrested one person for severing two persons with a hacksaw blade.

The suspect accused the victims of stealing a motorbike. The incident occurred at Borderless, a suburb of Buduburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

Police sources say the suspect claims they saw the victims pushing a motorbike around 9pm Tuesday, September 24, 2024, when the misunderstanding ensued.

Upon reaching Ibrahim’s premises, he questioned them where they got the motorbike and why they were pushing it instead riding.

The victims explained that the bike belonged to them but they couldn’t ride because the chain had torn. The explanation did not go well with Ibrahim which escalated into a heated argument.

He rushed to the house and returned with a hacksaw and a saw and severed the duo in front of his house.

The suspects have been apprehended by the Buduburam Police command while the victims have been sent to the St, Gregory Hospital at Gomoa Buduburam for treatment.
