35-year-old Felix Yawson is in the grips of the Gomoa Dominase Police command for mixing a poisonous substance suspected to be weedicide with corn dough which his mother sells at the market.
Onuaonline sources indicate Mr. Yawson was arrested based on a complaint made by his mother after seeing what her son had done.
Nana Yaw Asare, the Central Regional Correspondent for Onuaonline gathered from some residents at Gomoa Dominase that many people would have been affected by the poisonous substance if the mother had not found out.
This is because many people patronise the mother’s form dough.
They have further expressed worry and exhibited sorrow over the wicked deed the young man wanted to implement.
The residents are appealing to the police and the court to jail Mr. Yawson to serve as deterrent for others.
