31-year-old Edem Quashie has been shot to death at Gomoa Akramang in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
Nana Yaw Asare reports there have been land dispute between residents of Akramang and one Nai Adawo Duodu aka Rahman who has been terrorising residents for some time now.
He reports Rahman was working with his men Tuesday, October 8, 2022, when the youth of the town stormed the property to confront the workers.
A scuffle ensued where Rahman’s boys fired gunshots, with one of their own, Edem dying from after he was hit.
Meanwhile, four persons from the Akramang youth who got injured and taken to the hospital have been arrested by the police after being accused of shooting deceased.
The four are currently assisting in investigations.
