The Christ the King Cathedral in Sunyani welcomed the Sunyani Manhene, Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II when he worshipped with them as part of his church visit tour within the Sunyani Traditional Area.
In an excellent show of love and hospitality the Catholic community took the opportunity to appreciate and honor the Omanhene for his outstanding leadership since his enstoolment.

The church leadership formally presented a citation, rosary, and a crucifix, to Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen KorKor II.

Providing a profound spiritual dimension to the gifts, Fr. Domfeh counseled the Chief to place the crucifix on his wall and to look upon it in times of difficulty. He assured the Omanhene that in doing so, the Lord Almighty would hear his prayers and provide him with divine direction and guidance in his leadership.

They church congratulated him on his ascension to the throne as the Paramount Chief of the Sunyani Traditional Area and commended him for his demonstrated hard work, dedication, and commitment to the progress and welfare of the Sunyani community.
This gesture of recognition from the church served as a reciprocal endorsement of the strong partnership between the traditional authority and the religious institution. It highlighted the church’s appreciation for a leader who actively engages with all sectors of the community to foster development and peace.
