Twin sister of Ghanaian international, Christian Atsu, Christiana Atsupie Twasam, has condemned the unconfirmed reports being churned in the media about his brother’s whereabouts.

She says people should have confirmed reports before coming out with anything considering the sensitive nature of his brother’s situation.

The ex Chelsea and Newcastle United star was entrapped with his club’s Sporting Director Savut Taner from the rubble of a collapsed building in Turkey.

Earlier reports said he had been found and transported to the hospital for treatment until the Hatayaspor’s Medical Director debunked the information saying the former Black Stars midfielder is not at the hospital as reported.

In an interview with Crime Check Foundation, Atsupie Twasam said people should not play with the sensitivities of the family.

“I believe you have to have correct information about the person. If you haven’t seen with your eyes you don’t have to confirm. I believe if they rescue someone they give him to the next available ambulance to send to any hospital but if you haven’t had official confirmation, you don’t have to confirm. Because this is a delicate issue,” she noted.

Meanwhile, the football star’s sister is pleading with President Akufo-Addo to intervene in rescuing her brother.

“He (Pres. Akufo-Addo) should come in the search of my twin brother because now where I am I don’t know whether he’s found or not because he can’t be found in any hospital now,” she pleaded.
