A former Ghana High Commissioner to India and president of the NDC professional forum, Sam Pee Yalley says, the Minority’s support for a change of leadership at the front bench in Parliament puts the opposition party in a favourable position to win the 2024 elections.

He says the consensus arrived by the party leadership is a good call to surge their vision 2024 agenda on good grounds.

“I am extremely happy that, dissenting mps have now found common ground with leadership and that is a good omen,” he told OnuaOnline.

He said, the party has built experience and capacity to manage all manner of crisis in it, citing “the Obed Asamoah and Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings breakaways” as a litmus test but, the party excelled.

He congratulated the Council of Elders of the NDC, national executives and the parliamentary caucus for the “amicable solution” for the recent internal parliamentary impasse.
