The presidential candidate of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong-Kumankoma, has presented the CPP’s ‘Women’s Manifesto’ to Ghanaians few weeks into the December elections.

She says “this manifesto is a call to action, a commitment to a Ghana where every man, woman, and child can live in dignity, participate in prosperity, and shape their destiny in a nation free from dependency, inequality, and foreign domination.”

According to her, although Ghana is few weeks away from the general elections, a good manifesto that seeks to transform the lives of the people is not about the timing.

Rather, the businesswoman thinks “it’s about presenting a vision with clarity, focus, and strength.”

She explains that the document which is centred on four central pillars is a promise to the citizenry that, “together, we can build a nation worthy of its name, its people, and its heritage.”

A presentation by the flag bearer which contains details of what the Manifesto entails can be found here.
