The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) Ms. Joan Selasie Ahiawordor, Esq. has reaffirmed President Mahama’s vision of supporting youth-led initiatives.
Speaking during the official launch of Green Energy Transition Africa (GETA) Solutions new office space in Teshie, on the Teshie-Nungua Road, Accra, she lauded the move while pledging government’s support to such initiatives.
“The launch of GETA Solutions isn’t just timely—it is symbolic. It shows that young people are not waiting to be handed the future; they are creating it. This is exactly why H.E. John Dramani Mahama is back—to support young visionaries like you through NEIP and beyond. Green energy is the future, and thankfully, that future is today.” Ms. Ahiawordor declared.
Co-founder and Managing Director of Green Energy Transition Africa (GETA) Solutions, Solomon Ananpansah underscored the team’s vision of empowering Ghanaian youth.
“We are not just another consultancy—we are the only not-for-profit firm in the clean energy space in Africa with such bold ambitions. We are determined to be the leaders of Africa’s green energy transition, and our work is already speaking for itself.” He explained
Head of Corporate Strategy and Co-founder of GETA, Daniel Bakomora emphasised that GETA Solutions committed to working hard to, “becoming a household name in Ghana and across Africa, and at the forefront of conversations and actions driving the continent’s green future.”
GETA Solutions, a startup born from passion and purpose, operates with a mission to provide data-driven, context-aware support for the implementation of clean energy policies across Africa. The organisation helps governments, businesses, and development agencies align with global sustainability goals while delivering local solutions that work.
