Founder and leader of the Lord’s Parliament Chapel, Apostle Francis Amoako-Attah, has advised Ghanaian youth to build their capacity than to allow themselves to be used by the political class.

According to the man of God, these politicians, after using the youth for their personal benefits, leave them to their own fate to battle for their lives.

He says the attributes needed to serve in a leading portfolio requires knowledge and wisdom, and should be the priority of the youth instead of blindly following politicians to use them for their selfish gains.

Speaking with JB on Onua TV’s morning show, Maakye, Friday, February 21, 2025, Apostle Amoako Attah used the story of how King Nebuchadnezzar selected only four out of the many youth that were presented before him in the Biblical account of Daniel.

He explained that the men whose names were changed to be Shadrack, Meshack, Abednego, together with Daniel, were chosen by the king because of their insight and ability to study to make themselves knowledgeable.

Apostle Amoako-Attah therefore advised the youth, particularly party foot soldiers, to arm themselves with knowledge through education and training, so they could also be remembered as suitable candidates for respectable positions.

“Many were presented before Nebuchadnezzar but only four boys were qualified for this criteria. They were wise, they could learn and you can make use of them,” he stated.

“So, if you’re a young man and your own is to call on radio everyday to insult people, where are you going? Someone was a serial caller for 8 years, how would he survive today? Whilst you were calling and insulting, someone was learning, another was monitoring,” he advised further.

In his further explanations, he questioned “how many of the NDC foot soldiers and serial callers have been given a position?”

He asserted that one could have been doing all the defence for a party on social media and during phone-in segments on radio, “but you did not train your mind” reemphasising further that “you can make all the noise and invoke curses but as long as you did not train your mind [you will not be recognised by appointing authorities].

His position was that, it is better for one to prepare himself for an opportunity which he is not so certain of, than to be given the opportunity whilst he is not prepared.

“It is better to prepare for an uncertain opportunity than to get the opportunity without being prepared,” he stated.
