Mankrado of Gomoa Asempayin, Nana Kumasa Krampah II, has urged the P,resident-elect, John Dramani Mahama to work diligently to fulfill his campaign promises.

He has cautioned Mr. Mahama not to take the people’s mandate for granted, instead, ensure that at least 80 per cent of the promises he made during the campaign season is fulfilled.

President-elect, John Mahama, and the National Democratic Congress(NDC) on Saturday, August 24, 2024, unveiled the party’s manifesto for the 2024 general elections.

It presented an extensive plan aimed at revitalizing Ghana’s economy, easing economic hardships, and ensuring good governance.

Among these manifesto promises include the 24 hour economy, Free Tertiary Education for Persons with Disabilities, Ghana Medical Trust (Mahamacare) Fund and many others.

Nana Kumasa Krampah, who doubles as Mankrado for the Ninfa Division of Gomoa Assin Traditional Area, speaking in an interview with Onua News cautioned the NDC’s next administration not to repeat the mistakes of the outgoing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“Ghanaians voted decisively for the NDC in the just ended general elections because of their policies and promises.

“The people are truly yearning for development so if you fail to deliver, then consider NDC losers in the 2028 polls,” he admonished Mahama.

Nana Kumasa Krampah used the opportunity to advise the youth to be committed to their goals and aspirations, and called on the traditional authority to be united and fight for development for the various communities.
