Nana Agyei Baffuor Awuah has been elected as the one to replace Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the NPP parliamentary candidate for Manhyia South going into the December 7, 2024 election.
The fiercely contested election saw the legal practitioner winning with 376 votes and his closest contender, Nana Owusu Afriyie Prempeh, securing 141 votes.
Akwasi Coker Gyambibi had 2 votes whilst James Owusu Boakye got 7 votes.
This is provisional results according to TV3’s northern sector bureau chief, William Evans Nkum.
