The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Jinapor, has engaged the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) in a comprehensive review of its 2025 performance and to align priorities for 2026.
He said the engagement formed part of his Ministry’s strategic plan.
The session focused on strengthening execution, unlocking new opportunities, and positioning the Corporation to deliver greater value across the energy value chain.
Dr Jinapor stated that the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation remains central to the government’s investment drive in the energy sector, serving as a critical catalyst for infrastructure development, private sector participation, and long-term energy security.

“As we look ahead, our focus is on deepening investor confidence and accelerating projects that will transform our energy landscape, create jobs and support sustainable economic growth,” the Yapei Kusawgu lawmaker wrote on Facebook after the engagement.
The hub is a groundbreaking megaproject development in the Jomoro district of the Western Nzema Area. The PHub which is intended to be a leading integrated petroleum complex is a critically giant step in creating value to the up and downstream oil and gas value chain on the African continent.
