The Kade Police in the Eastern South Region is investigating the death of a young couple following a domestic dispute.
The deceased have been identified as Atta Panyin, aged 22, and his girlfriend Deborah, aged 21.
Both are natives of Akyem Takworase but were living in Kade at the time of the incident.
According to sources, Deborah has been living in the village until Atta Panyin brought her to Kade and supported her to learn a trade.
The couple dated for some time, but after a misunderstanding, Deborah relocated to Kasoa in the Central Region.

She later returned to Kade to inform Atta Panyin of her decision to end the relationship, stating that she had found another partner and had come to collect her belongings.
Her decision did not go well with Atta Panyin and reportedly led to an altercation.
Atta Panyin is said to have locked the room and refused to allow her to pack her things.
Friends who got suspicious of the whereabouts of Deborah informed neighbors who broke into his room on February 2, 2025.
They found Deborah had sustained fatal injuries from a knife with blood spilled on the floor.
Atta Payin was also found dead in the same room, with a rope tied to a ceiling fan, in what the police suspect to be suicide.
The police have since conveyed both bodies to the Kade Government Hospital for preservation and further investigations.
