A three-storey building has collapsed at Accra New Town, leaving several people feared trapped beneath the rubble.
Residents and bystanders rushed to the scene immediately after the collapse, attempting to rescue victims and worshippers using bare hands and basic tools before the arrival of emergency responders.

At least eight people have so far been rescued, although authorities are yet to confirm the total number of individuals trapped or injured.
Personnel from the Ghana Police Service, National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), and the Ghana National Fire Service have since taken over operations, securing the area and leading coordinated rescue efforts.

Some victims are reportedly still trapped under the debris while others have been transported to hospital for medical care as rescuers continue their search.
