Management of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) has rescinded its decision to prevent TigerEyePi from airing its latest documentary dubbed: ‘Galamsey Economy’ to the public.
In an earlier release issued by the TigerEye team Sunday, November 13, 2022, it said managers of the conference centre changed their minds on granting them the venue which they had advertised the premiere for, saying the space wasn’t going to be available anymore.

A lot of concerns were raised by the public with some reading political underpinnings to the sour development.
But some hours after the release, the AICC management have responded the circular saying “the initial confusion was due to a scheduling conflict at the level of the AICC staff and not in any way a political decision as being speculated.”
“The matter has been resolved. We have made contact with the organisers and the event is expected to come off as scheduled,” it added.
