The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has slapped Solomon Sarfo Taylor with a three-year ban from all football activities.
Sarfo Taylor has been handed the hefty ban for double registration.
The former Asante Kotoko forward was on the verge of having his contract with the club terminated for falsification of registration document, but he resisted, leading to a protest filed against him by the club over name inconsistencies.
In its ruling on Monday, April 15, the Disciplinary Committee said the talented attacker has been found guilty of falsifying his registration documents, hence the three-year ban.
“Solomon Sarfo Taylor has been banned from participating in matches and competitions organised by the GFA for a period of three years.
“The Disciplinary Committee found him guilty of falsifying his registration documents. As a result, Solomon Sarfo Taylor’s player license has accordingly been revoked,” parts of a notice from the GFA said in a post on X.
