Ghana U20 were eliminated from the Toulon tournament in France after losing their second game on Thursday.

The Black Satellites, who lost their first game 1-0 to Mexico, suffered a similar defeat to Indonesia U19.

Karim Zito’s team was the better in the first half, creating good chances but failing to capitalise.

After the first half break, Indonesia gained confidence and took the lead in the 58th minute, through midfielder Raka Cahyana who profited from a goalkeeping howler.

The Black Satellites huffed and puffed but couldn’t find an equaliser as Indonesia celebrated a historic victory over the reigning African champions.

The defeat means are out of the tournament, also known as the Maurice Revello, before playing their third group game against Venezuela on Sunday.
