Ghanaian-born English youth international Josh-Kofi Acheampong marked his debut for English Premier League side Chelsea on Thursday.

Acheampong, who has featured for England at various youth levels, was an 85th minute substitute in Chelsea’s 2-0 win over their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

He came on for Alfie Gilchrist.

Acheampong first joined Chelsea’s academy as an Under-8 player.

He, then, featured for the side’s youth team before coach Mauricio Pochettino named him on the bench in Thursday’s match.

Coincidentally, he turns 18 on Sunday.
