A 12-year-old class four pupil, Akosua Bornah, is currently in serious pains after her 17 year old brother, Kofi Sammy, physically assaulted and raped her at Assin Kyekyewere in the Assin South District of the Central Region.
In an exclusive interview with the victim, she narrated that, it was raining heavily when she was returning from school so the brother asked her to rest in his veranda and go home after the rain.
She said whilst in the veranda, his brother asked her to enter the room of which she refused.
But he forced her into the room and started sexually assaulting her according to the little girl. She added that, she wanted to scream but his brother twisted her neck which made her fell unconscious and slept with her.
The suspect after the act threw her through the window to the back of the room and covered her with palm branches. She returned to the house after she gaining consciousness and reported to the parents.
Mother of the victim, Juliana Owusu said after examining the victim’s private part, she found out that the suspect slept with her and rushed her to Abura Dunkwa Government Hospital.
She advised young guys to stop such act because its unlawful.
The suspect’s mother, Gloria Antwi told Nkwa FM’s Prince Odoom that, she is tired of the lifestyle of his son and also believes his lifestyle is influenced by some spiritual attack.
She therefore pleaded with men of God who can help his son in prayers so that his attitude will change for the best.
The suspect, Kofi Sammy, who is in the grip of Assin Fosu Police Command will be arraigned before court today.
