Ghana’s biggest music night, the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), is set to come off on May 9 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre, where the nation’s finest musicians and industry players will be celebrated for their creativity, impact and excellence in the music business.
As anticipation builds ahead of the highly anticipated awards ceremony, conversations around performances, nominees and fashion moments continue to dominate entertainment discussions. One question many fans have been asking, however, is — who will host the red carpet?
Organizers have now unveiled two familiar faces from Media General as official hosts for the red carpet segment of the glamorous night.
They are versatile television presenter and host of TV3’s afternoon show, Godwin Namboh, and renowned media personality and co-host of “Ladies Circle,” Regina Van Helvert.
Known for his energetic personality, engaging interviewing style and strong presence on television, Godwin Namboh is expected to bring excitement and flair to the red carpet conversations, while Regina Van Helvert’s elegance, charisma and experience in lifestyle and entertainment broadcasting are set to add class and glamour to the evening.
Together, the duo is expected to engage celebrities, nominees, musicians, fashion icons and stakeholders as they arrive in style for one of the most prestigious nights on Ghana’s entertainment calendar.
The red carpet segment of the TGMA has over the years become one of the most talked-about aspects of the awards, serving as a major platform for fashion statements, celebrity interactions and memorable moments before the main ceremony begins.
This year’s edition is expected to attract some of the biggest names in Ghanaian music and entertainment, making the red carpet experience one fans and viewers will be eagerly looking forward to.
