Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, who is also the Member of Parliament for Juaboso, in collaboration with Rikair and Warmpharma, has donated essential medical supplies to the Juaboso Government Hospital.

Speaking during the handing over of the supplies, the Minister assured that he will ensure the facility receives medical supplies to boost healthcare delivery in the area.

He emphasized that the donation is not the first, reassuring the residents of his commitment to make extra efforts to support the hospital and improve healthcare in the region.

Mr. Akandoh also reflected on a promise made about a month ago regarding the establishment of a nursing training college in the Juaboso District.

He confirmed that the project is set to begin this year, as it has been included in the 2025 budget.

The representative of Rikair and Warmpharma, Frank Lovejoy Aye, provided details of the donated items and their total value. The supplies include surgical gowns, Rikair flowmeter sets, pulse oximeters, NK 95 nose masks, a CPAP machine, and a 5LPM oxygen concentrator, amounting to GH₵163,500.

Mr. Lovejoy assured the community that his companies would continue to work closely with the Health Minister to provide further medical supplies, contributing to the improvement of healthcare in the region.

Dr. Solomon Yangauu, the Medical Superintendent of Juaboso Government Hospital, expressed his gratitude to the Minister, Rikair, and Warmpharma for their timely donation.

He assured that the items would be used effectively to enhance the hospital’s healthcare services.
