Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have announced a decision to lease part of its new office complex to aid revenue generation.

The three-storey building is 95 percent complete, according to the Executive Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV.

Addressing stakeholders of the club on Thursday, April 4 at its 6th Annual General Meeting in Accra, Togbe Afede XIV said about GH¢9 million has so far been invested into the facility.

He said the club’s old secretariat, popularly known as Phobia House, had to be pulled down in May 2022 to make way for the ultra-modern office complex.

He said the project was mostly funded by loans contracted from either GT Bank or Strategic Initiatives Limited (SIL).

Therefore, he stated, “part of this ultra-modern edifice will be leased out to help generate revenue”.

The first two floors will be leased out while the third floor will be used as a museum to display the trophies and relics of the over century-old club.

The Executive Board Chairman also indicated that the two-storey building acquired to serve as a temporary office while the project was ongoing will continue to be used.

“So, your club has three separate sites for its operations, something few clubs on the continent, if any, can boast of,” he told the shareholders.

The AGM, postponed from last week, was held to, among others, approve the new members appointed to the board.
