Entertainer cum politician, Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as ‘A Plus’, has disclosed that God has revealed to him that he will be President of Ghana in 2032.

A Plus says he is confident of his ambition just as he was with his victory in the 2024 elections which has made him the Member of Parliament-elect for Gomoa Central in the Central region.

According to him, the revelation came about four years ago when he got convinced that the encounter he had with God was so certain that he knew he would be in Ghana’s 9th Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

Speaking on the extended coverage of Ghana Decides 2024 on TV3 Friday, December 13, 2024, A Plus indicated that part of the revelations that came up at his encounter with God was him becoming an MP in 2024 and would want Ghanaians to tag along with his ambition.

“In 2020, I held a rally at Asylum Down and there was one guy standing beside me wearing ‘Kwame 2024 T-Shirt’. I knew that 2024 I will be MP. I knew. I keep telling people I have met God. I know that in 2032, I will be President of Ghana. I know and you people have to tag along,” he revealed.

When asked if he is going to attain the feat as an independent candidate or on the ticket of any of the political parties, he said “that is the history that everybody must be ready to write.”

“I keep telling people I have met God. I’ll be MP, I know exactly what I’m about,” he indicated.

Kwame A Plus, as he is affectionately known in the showbiz fraternity, was speaking about his relationship with President Akufo-Addo when he made the comments.

He said the President fell out with him in 2018 when he criticised the misdeeds of some of his appointees, and never spoke to him again until two weeks to the 2020 elections when Akufo-Addo needed his support.

Co-host of the show, Johnnie Hughes, was asking if the President had congratulated him after his victory due to the relationship between them, when he disclosed that the President is no more his friend.

“So, Akufo-Addo has never called me, I was not expecting his call. Akufo-Addo only called me two weeks to the election because he wanted support. Because he was scared and after that, he has never called me but I’ve never shared it here. I know what God has planned for me,” he pointed out.
