Black Stars striker Ibrahim Osman has opened his goal-scoring account at Birmingham City after joining the English Championship side in the winter transfer window.

The Ghanaian joined on loan from Brighton after a similar deal in the summer at Auxerre and, prior to that, at Feyenoord.

Playing only his second game in the Championship against Leicester City on Saturday, Osman scored after just 3 minutes of play at St Andrews.

Though that goal was equalised by compatriot Abdul-Fatawu Issahaku, Jay Stansfield struck in the second half to give his side a 2-1 win.

The win takes the Blues to 10th on the log.

Birmingham’s next game will be at home to West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday.
