President John Dramani Mahama has reemphasised his administration’s commitment to holding appointees of both the previous and current administrations with high ethical standards.

He has therefore assured that findings made by the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee will be forwarded to relevant investigative agencies for further action.

The President has assured that the committee will present its report next week for persons suspected of misappropriating state resources to be probed.

During his address at his ‘Thank You’ tour of the Central region Thursday, February 06, 2025, President Mahama assured the nation that his government will serve not just a privileged few but the interest of all Ghanaians.

“Next week, the ORAL committee that I set up is going to present its report to me. And I will refer it to the investigative organisations to start their investigations against people who have misappropriated the resources of this nation,” he stated.

He reemphasised that members of his administration would also be held accountable with the same ethical standards being used for members of the previous administration.

“Even as we investigate those who have just left office, and we carry out our Operation Recover All Loot, those who are current office bearers should also know that they will be held to the same standard as we are holding the past regime,” he asserted.
