Before his exit from office in January 2025, President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is confident his administration will achieve its target of creating a progressive and prosperous Ghana.

The President says his optimism stems from the available opportunities he foresees which he is confident of their materialisation by the guidance of the Almighty God and the support of the Ghanaian people.

Speaking at the Annual Eucharist Service at the Jubilee House Tuesday, January 09, 2024, the President said he is counting on the support of the Ghanaian people to consolidate all the policies he has implemented since assuming office in January 2017.

“Indeed Ghana has come this far by His grace and I’m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for our country.

“At the end of my time in office as it nears, with one year to go, I’m filled with optimism and determination with the support of the Ghanaian people and the guidance of the Almighty God, I’m confident that we’ll achieve our goal of creating a progressive and prosperous Ghana for all,” he encouraged.

Congratulating the Anglican Communion of Ghana for its newly inaugurated Tema and Nkoranza dioceses, the President said the goal he seeks to achieve “is a mission that requires not only political understanding but also heavenly inspiration and grace.”

The President further urged the citizenry “to begin the new year with a renewed sense of purpose and a stronger commitment of ideas that unite us as a free nation.”
