Reggae dancehall sensation, Livingstone Etse Satekla, known in the show business as Stonebwoy, has revealed that he has Nigerian heritage.

Stonebwoy, who is an Ewe, has disclosed that his ancestors were from the ancient Oyo Kingdom in Nigeria.

He further indicates that his tribe, Ewe, were the original settlers of Ilesha, located in the Osun State of Nigeria.

He said in a recent chat with Ola of Lagos, OnuaOnline has learnt from the Daily Post Nigeria.

Speaking in Pidgin, Stonebwoy said, “Me sef nah Naija, no lies. Me nah Ewe from Oyo Kingdom, my tribe migrated from Nigeria to Ghana here, na we get Illesha. Shout-out to my people in the southern part of Nigeria. Check Ewe, we root straight to Yoruba.”
