Acting Chief Executive of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC), Sammy Gyamfi, has asked Ghanaians to expect the NDC government to deliver, assuring them that they will not be disappointed.
According to him, the government has put measures in place to meet the needs of Ghanaians in various facets of life as promised during the electioneering period.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with TV3’s Eric Mawuena Egbeta, ahead of the Budget presentation by the Finance Minister Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Mr. Gyamfi asserted that the promises of the administration is going to begin after the presentation of the budget.
According to him, the government is going to give Ghanaians “a budget that responds to our needs, aspirations, ease hardship, create jobs, create prosperity for all and a budget that will respect the social contract that we the NDC have with the good people of this country.”
“Aban papa aba (a better government is here),” he stated, adding that “the change we voted for is here.”
“The hope the people of this country need is here and I’m very optimistic that by the time the Finance Minister is done reading this budget, many Ghanaians will find hope in his words,” Gyamfi was certain.
Meanwhile, he has indicated that the government is not going to have challenges with the implementation of its promises to Ghanaians with recourse to the taxes it has promised to abolish.
He explained that those promises and tax cuts were well thought through before they were brought out, the reason the government is confident of fulfilling those promises to the people of Ghana.
