Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo has named a 23-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.

The Stars will host the Chadians in Accra on Friday, March 21 before travelling to Morocco to play against Madagascar three days later.

It will be the first outing of the team since the ignominious failure to make it to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

In the latest squad, Otto Addo has named key players like Thomas Partey of Arsenal, Alexander Djiku of Fenerbahce, Iñaki Williams of Athletic Club, Antoine Semenyo of AFC Bournemouth and Ernest Nuamah of Olympique Lyonnais, who missed the last games due to various injuries, as part of the returnees.

A debut call-up has been handed Genk striker Christopher Bonsu Baah and Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, who is one three locally-based players called up by the gaffer.

Nations FC captain Razak Simpson, who impressed in the last games, and Medeama SC’s Kamaradini Mamudu are the other two Ghana Premier League players.
