Two goals by Black Stars striker Iñaki Williams in each half ensured that Athletic Club scooped all three points in their La Liga game against Getafe on Friday night.

The game at the Coliseum was an early Matchday 34 fixture in La Liga.

Following missed chances coming the way of the home side, Athletic Club broke the deadlock in the 27th minute when Ghanaian striker Iñaki hit a long-range ball from his brother, Nico.

The two combined again for the second goal in the second half, Nico picking Iñaki in the penalty area.

Despite the visitors being reduced to nine men and manager Ernesto Valverde also sent into the stands, they held on to Williams’ brace to finish the game as winners.

Not even a penalty coming the way of Getafe would see them pull one goal back.

The win sees the Copa del Rey champions keep their 5th position on the log.

They will play Osasuna in their next game.

Getafe, who remain 10th, will play Cádiz next.

Real Madrid continue to lead the log with 84 points, nine clear of second-placed Barcelona.
