Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, who killed Victoria Dapaah, alias Maadwoa, his girlfriend at Adum in Kumasi has said the deceased owed him GH₵5,000.00.
This was contained in the prosecution document read in court Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
Inspector Ahmed Twumasi was escorted with a police reinforcement at the Asokore Mampong District Court Tuesday considering the charged atmosphere at the court premises amid emotions.
The suspect has been charged with murder.
The court also revealed that Inspector Ahmed Twumasi used a service pistol to commit the crime.
He has been remanded into police custody to reappear on May 30, 2023.
