Former Black Stars and King Faisal Babes defender Habib Mohammed says a return to the Black Stars for Andre Dede Ayew will not be surprising.
For him, it boils down to the coach, Otto Addo, who might have monitored the 35-year-old, informing a decision to re-call him.
“It will be both surprising and not surprising because we all know previously, they don’t call Dede Ayew,” he remarked on Onua Sports Centre
“But I don’t know if currently [Coach Otto Addo] has monitored him and considered one or two things, influencing a call-up. That is at his own discretion,” he explained to host Bismark Kwaku Sarpong.
“So, with that, if you ask him anything on that issue, he will know what to say about it. So, I will not be surprised.”
Ayew’s performance for Le Havre in recent times has caught the eye of many.
He has scored 3 goals in his 16 appearances in the 2024/25 season in the French Ligue 1 for the Sky and Navy side.
