Despite numerous survey houses predicting victory for former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming election, Ernest Owusu-Bempah, the Deputy National Communications Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), thinks otherwise.
He is confident the polls would be won by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and flag bearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to him, he is the most privileged person in the current dispensation to have closely walked with two Presidents and can tell when a candidate is losing an election or not.
He prided in his longstanding relationship with the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, saying he is abreast with the nooks and crannies of politics in Ghana.
Speaking Wednesday, October 02, 2024, with Onua FM’s Nana Yaa Brefo and JB on Yen Nsempa, the NPP officer said although the election is not going to be easy, Ghanaians will get the shock of their lives when the results start tricking in.
“I’m privileged to be around two Presidents and if someone is going to win an election I can see. I’m not an ordinary person who is speaking. I’ve been around the longest former First Lady in this country who knows the nooks and crannies of politics in this country.
“I’m telling you that this election is not going to be easy but the NPP is going to win by 50.9%. It’s going to be a one-touch victory. The dynamics are different. There are many dynamics to this election and when the results start tricking in, it will shock everybody,” he stated.
