Asante Kotoko’s newly-appointed Director of Football, Stanley Purl Menzo, has expressed delight to join the Porcupine Warriors family.
He stressed that it is an honour to join a club of the stature and history of Asante Kotoko.
“The passion of the supporters and the ambition of the leadership made this an easy decision,” he stated.
“I look forward to working with the technical team, the players and the entire Kotoko family to build something special and to compete for the trophies this club deserves.”
The former Dutch goalkeeper was announced the Director of Football for Asante Kotoko on Monday, June 8.
He has been tasked to be responsible for all technical matters of the club as a substantive coach is searched for.
Executive Chairman of the club James Osei Brown extolled the qualities of the former Suriname coach.
“Stanley Menzo brings a rare combination of elite playing experience, proven leadership and genuine global perspective,” he stated.
“His footballing philosophy aligns with the standards and ambitions of this great institution, and we are confident that his expertise will help us build a sustainable, winning structure of which our supporters can be proud.
