Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew was given a special honour by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Monday, having reached a 100 caps for the senior national men’s soccer team.
Ayew, who later scored a hat trick for the Stars on the day, was handed a golden boot by coach Otto Addo.

He becomes the third Ghanaian player after Asamoah Gyan and his brother, Andre, to achieve this feat, at the Africa Cup of Nations in La Cote d’Ivoire.
Jordan Ayew made his debut for the Black Stars against Swaziland on September 5, 2010.
He, however, scored his first and second international goals in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.
He has since gone on to rack up a total of 28 goals, putting him at 6th in the all-time top scorers chart.
