A man believed to be in his mid 30s has been lynched by unknown assailants at Kasoa Free Town in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
Preliminary investigations by the Police indicate the deceased was physically assaulted before passing on.
Awutu Senya East Municipal NADMO Director, Kwame Amoah, says he cannot confirm whether the person was a thief or was robbed.
He says the body has been conveyed by the Kasoa District Police Command to the Police Hospital for preservation whilst investigations go on.
