Highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena has expressed his displeasure with King Paluta’s recent remarks, saying that the language Paluta used does not speak well of him particularly due to an artiste of his caliber.
A video which emerged on social media recently show King Paluta shouting and insulting a fan while performing at a party in London.
In the video, the artiste paused his performance to respond to the individual at the event who was reportedly unhappy with King Paluta’s performance and had passed a comment.
In an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz, Saturday, July 5 Kwabena Kwabena while advising King Paluta about the matter, emphasized the value of concentrating on one’s skill and acting professionally when performing.
He asserted that performers ought to realize that their goal when they take the stage is to entertain a paying audience, not to indulge their own feelings.
“You need to look at the craft very well and understand the stage. It doesn’t matter who likes you or not at the end of the day, it’s a job. People bought tickets to come see you, and your duty is to entertain them,” he said.
He continued: “I believe he concentrated on the environment, it can happen to anyone but I am not excited about the words he used, let’s be truthful. The words were not words that should come out from the mouth of an artiste of his stature.”
Kwabena Kwabena called on Paluta and his management to apologise for the artiste’s conduct.
“I believe that by now, he himself and his management should put a statement out to apologise for those words. Let’s call a spade, a spade and be blunt,” he added.
Looking ahead, he advised King Paluta to understand that as a public figure, he is constantly under watch and must learn to navigate criticism well.
“Moving forward, he must understand that he is in the eye of the public and they can throw anything at you and be able to manage it,” he stated.
