The gruesome murder has been reported of a 15-year-old girl by name Regina Sarfo at the Konongo Methodist Primary School in the Ashanti Region.
Images of her remains show she was stabbed. The left side of her rib was cut whilst two pieces of sticks were pierced through her mouth to the throat.
According to reports, Christabel is not a native of Konongo but stays in a rented apartment with five other young ladies.
Her hometown and relatives have not been identified yet.
King Zuka of Konongo-based Duapa FM tells Onuaonline some six young guys allegedly went to Christabel’s house in search of one of her roommates according to their landlord.
The said lady was not around at the time as Christabel was asleep then. After telling the guys the lady was not around, they kept knocking till she came out of the room.
King Zuka explained further that the landlord said the guys told Christabel they want to discuss something with her and she innocently followed them.
That was the last time the landlord said he saw Christabel and the six young men until her lifeless body with pierces and cutlass inflicted wounds was discovered before daybreak at the Methodist Primary School.
It is suspected that the six young men allegedly walked her to the school which is not far from her residence and allegedly murdered her.
Onuaonline’s further sources indicate Christabel was seen by some neighbours the night before her murder with her boyfriend known in the area as ‘Sakawa’.
The five other colleagues she stays with have not been sighted after the incident till the time this report was being filed.
The police have deposited her remains at the Steward Morgue at Yawkei, a town next to Konongo.
Police are on a manhunt for the six suspects whilst investigations are ongoing.
