Asante Kotoko’s winless run has been extended to seven games following Sunday’s 0-2 loss to Dreams FC in Matchday 26 of the Ghana Premier League.

Battling relegation despite two games in hand, Dreams FC ensured that they scooped all three points, deepening the woes of their opponents.

Two goals in each half of the game got the Still Believe boys the maximum points.

Sylvester Simba scored first in the 25th minute and Derrick Atta Agyei scored in the second half.

The result leaves the Porcupine Warriors claiming only one point from their last eight matches.

The loss is their fourth consecutive defeat in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

The result drops them to 11th on the log.

They will next face league leaders FC Samartex 1996 at home.

The win this afternoon lifts Dreams FC out of the relegation zone to 14th on the log.

They’ll return to Africa next week as they travel to Egypt to face Zamalek in the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
