Ghanaian actor, Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as LilWin has reacted to the outburst from social media users concerning a poorly worded statement from his management on Monday.

LilWin’s management on Monday, May 20 issued a statement announcing a suspension of the actor’s media tour ahead of his movie premiere in Kumasi.

The statement was fraught with grammatical errors, poor diction and wrong usage of words coupled with incomplete sentences.

This caused a stir on social media with netizens outraged by the diction of the statement. LilWin’s management has since received backlashes for putting out such a statement with concerns that this could tarnish the actor’s brand and reputation.

However, reacting to the concerns in an Instagram post, LilWin clarified that the poor worded statement was released on purpose to create a buzz for his movie, “A Country Called Ghana.”

“Negativity trends… I intentionally asked my team to put out a statement with such grammatical errors to see the reaction of Ghanaians. True to my intentions, Ghanaians reacted as much as expected.

“It was all to promote “A Country Called Ghana”, he said in his Instagram post on May 22.
