Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama, will pay a one day working visit to The Gambia today, Friday, January 17, 2025.
A media advisory posted from the State House of The Gambia Thursday, January 16, 2025, indicated that the President will arrive at 11:45 in the forenoon.
“The Office of the President hereby informs the public that H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, will embark on a day’s working visit to The Gambia tomorrow at 11:45 A.M.,” portions of the statement contained.
“President Barrow will receive the visiting Head of State at the Banjul International Airport and later host him at a State luncheon,” the statement added, also disclosing that “the two Heads of State will hold a tete-a-tete meeting to discuss ways to further strengthen The Gambia-Ghana bilateral relations.”
