Media General Ghana Ltd, operators of TV3, 3FM, Onua TV, Onua FM, Akoma FM, Connect FM, 3 Foundation, Adesa Production Limited and two online portals, has won the ‘Media Organization of the Year’ at the prestigious Ghana Business Awards 2023 held in Accra on Saturday November 11.
The Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Beatrice Agyemang, was also honoured with the distinguished Female CEO Award.
Madam Agyemang expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the dedication of the staff and further urged all content creators to prioritise quality.
“This goes to say that we are leaders in this space. Media is evolving very fast and you can only stay relevant if you put out quality content.
“So I will not just entreat my team at Media General but I will entreat all content creators that our work goes beyond just putting out content, our work goes to effect changes in society, our work promotes businesses and so it is important that we place a lot of importance to the work we do, we do a lot of research, we get a lot of background to whatever issues we are putting out so that the public is well-informed, well-educated and of course entertained,” she said.
