Mohammed Kudus’ goal against SC Freiburg in the UEFA Europa League last season has been nominated for the 2024 FIFA Puskás Award.
The Award honours the best and most creative goal scored anywhere and in any game across the world.
Kudus’ solo run at the London Stadium on 14 March to score against the German side was adjudged the Goal of the Season by his club West Ham United last term.

It will now contend against 10 other spectacular goals scored in the year under review.
Among these are Alejandro Garnacho’s bicycle kick effort against Everton in the English Premier League and Federico Dimarco’s goal for Inter Milan against Frosinone in the Italian Serie A.
The Award will be handed out at a ceremony to be held in January.
