A relationship coach, Nana Yaa Prempeh has criticised mothers who show too much affection to their married sons by cooking for them frequently even as they are married.

Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Joy Prime, Nana Yaa Prempeh believes it’s a sign of witchcraft on the path of such mothers who frequently prevents their sons from eating in their marital homes.

She said such mothers should “bow down their heads in shame” as they are doing no good to their sons.

According to her, mothers should visit homes of their married sons to enjoy meals prepared by their daughters-in-law rather than try to break their son’s marriage by preventing them from eating in their marital home.

“Some mothers are still cooking for their sons when they are married. How can you allow witch craft to work in you like that when your son is married and you don’t want him to eat his wife’s food.

“And because you love your son so much, you will chose to cook for you son to come to your home and eat when he has a matrimonial home, and you think that you are helping your son, you should bow down your head in shame.

“You should rather go there to enjoy the food of your daughter-in-law rather than bringing your son back to your home,” the Chief Executive Officer of Tin-Ifa said on Thursday, May 30.
